News: Collision causes traffic delays on US-65 in Chicot Co.

CHICOT CO., AR  – Arkansas State Police were called to the scene of a collision along US-65, south of Halley Junction this afternoon.

According to a report by IDrive Arkansas, the crash occurred about two miles southeast of SH-208 at about 1:38 p.m.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, at least two lanes were shut down for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene.

No injuries were reported as a direct result of the collision.
