News: Saline Co. crash leaves 1 dead, 10 others injured

SALINE CO., AR – One man was killed and 10 others suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle crash in Saline County late Sunday night.

According to KARK, the crash occurred shortly before midnight within the 14300 block of Chicot Road, near Bethany Lane.

Deputies with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office say the driver of a Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck collided with a van, which was carrying a family of 10.

The father, who was driving the van, suffered fatal injuries in the wreck. The mother and eight children were hospitalized with various injuries. Three of the children were reported in serious condition.

The driver of the Chevrolet was also hospitalized in serious condition. It is unclear if he will face any charges at this time.
